When it comes to women’s health issues, Dr. Lee is an expert. Prior to joining the Fauquier Health team, she practiced at Mercy Medical Center—a health system in Baltimore known nationally for providing state-of-the-art women’s health services. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Lee is also an expert in the art of healing. For her, a kind and gentle approach works best when trying to earn a patient’s confidence and trust.
After earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1994, Dr. Lee completed the University of Maryland Hospital Medical Center Internal Medicine Internship and Residency Program.
Dr. Lee is fluent in English.
Among her many honors, Dr. Lee has been featured as a “Top Doctor” in Washingtonian Magazine. She is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Lee conducted several research studies related to schizophrenia for the Neurology/ Psychiatry Department at the Medical College of Virginia. The results were published by the American Association of Psychiatry. Dr. Lee also presented a study about breast cancer in premenopausal women during Senior Grand Rounds at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Lee joined Fauquier Health as a physician with Piedmont Internal Medicine in 2002. Prior to that, she was a clinical assistant professor of Medicine at University of Maryland Medical System; the medical director for Mercy Family Care; the ambulatory care education director for University of Maryland Medical system; genetic research assistant at the Medical College of Virginia.
Dr. Lee is married, has four children.
